Ron Hirschel has been practicing in the area of commercial real estate since 1981. He initially received his training and experience in the early 1980’s as Vice President and General Counsel for Dart Group, Trak Auto and Crown Books under the auspices of Herbert Haft, Robert Haft and Ben Kovalsky. Between 1975 and 1981, Ron was a trial lawyer. He graduated from the American University, Washington College of Law, in 1975 and is admitted to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Ron is a member of the Maryland Bar Association, the Bar Association of Montgomery County, the D.C. Bar Association, ABA, and ICSC. Ron has lectured and written articles about a variety of different leasing subjects for the ICSC, Commercial Lease Law Insider, Georgetown University, the International Council of Shopping Centers and the District of Columbia Bar. Ron and the firm have been honored with an AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating in legal ability and ethical standards that can be attained. Ron has been named a Maryland Real Estate Super Lawyer in 2009-2010 and 2015-2020. Ron is also a member of the Myers Society at Washington College of Law and is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Kidney Foundation of the National Capital Area.
